Caitlin is a senior product designer and a graduate of the York University & Sheridan College Bachelor of Design program in Toronto. As a designer, her mission is to build and improve experiences that not only help people live easier and less rage-induced lives but also empower business needs.
Naturally curious and passionate about human connection, she mentors avidly in her community and also enjoys connecting as a mentee with other designers and leaders. Although her journey was non-linear, her experiences as a teacher, web developer, and designer have shaped her into an empathetic, cross-functional collaborator with a unique ability to understand product development from various perspectives.
Caitlin values mental wellness, diversity, mentorship, personal growth, education, and neurodiversity. For fun, she enjoys finding nature spots, watching sci-fi, making digital art, playing video games, and reading.

Hi there! My name's Caitlin, and I graduated from the York University & Sheridan College Bachelor of Design program in Toronto. I love learning and trying new things so after graduating, I took off to teach overseas in a foreign country while freelancing in design as a side hustle. I eventually returned to Canada to study UX/UI & front-end code before landing my first gig as a web developer. This journey brought me to my current focus on UX/UI, and has made me a really empathetic designer for the people building our products as well as those who use them.
As an individual, I deeply value community, ongoing self-development, and growing outside of my comfort zone. My peers have described me as thoughtful, proactive, articulate, and self-aware. Outside of design, you'll usually find me discovering new nature spots, playing Steam games, watching something sci-fi, or reading about psychology & mental health.
