Hi! I’m Caitlin.

I graduated from the York University & Sheridan College Bachelor of Design program in Toronto. I love learning and trying new things so after graduating, I went to teach overseas in a foreign country, South Korea, while freelancing in design as a side hustle. Discovering UX through my overseas network, I eventually returned to Canada to study UX/UI & front-end code before landing my first gig as a web developer. This winding journey led me to my current career in UX/UI and has made me an extremely empathetic designer for the people building our products and those who use them. I now have over 6 years of experience working with human-centric products.

As an individual, I deeply value community, ongoing self-development, and growing outside of my comfort zone. My peers have described me as thoughtful, articulate, wise, and self-aware. Outside of design, you’ll usually find me discovering new nature spots along the fringes of Ontario, dabbling in digital art, enjoying music, playing Steam games, watching something sci-fi, or reading about psychology and mental health.
